Andy’s love of sweeping started in 2017 when he decided he wanted a change of career and literally get his hands dirty.
He is a HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep and is also NVQ qualified. Services across the area include Powersweeping (an extremely effective method of cleaning a chimney) but also traditional rod and brush sweeping where required.
He is delighted to provide advice on any number of issues around the use of your open fire, woodburner, AGA or any other style of appliance.
Bird Guards, Cowls, caps are also installed in order to protect your chimney from birds, rain and downdraughts.
If birds have nested in your chimney, these can be cleared too. Just contact us for more details.
Keeping it in the family
Andy is also delighted to announce that both his brother Dave and Andy’s son Max will be sweeping with him.
Dave has been sweeping for a while now and just to let you know, at time of adding to the website, he is the one without the beard!
After training with Andy for a few months Max has flown the nest and will be sweeping also. He swaps between long flowing ginger mullet hair to nothing at all (to keep in line with his dad and uncle!).

Fully insured
Our sweeps are fully insured, carrying public liability as well as professional indemnity insurance. They also have undergone a full police check.

Our sweeps enjoy comprehensive training and are regularly assessed on their sweeping standards by experienced, expert sweeps.
