Ian, who is based in Wallsend and Richard, who lives in Whitley Bay, provide a year round professional chimney sweeping service throughout North Tyneside, Newcastle and surrounding areas (see map below for further details).


They not only sweep standard open fires but also wood burners, solid fuel stoves and other appliances such as Agas, Rayburns and Parkrays. 
 
Both traditional sweeping methods and power sweeping technology are used as appropriate. Richard and Ian are members of APICS (Association of Professional Independent Chimney Sweeps) and Richard is a HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep. In 2016 the business was a winner at the prestigious bfa HSBC Franchisee of the Year awards.


CCTV surveys and smoke tests can be carried out to determine the condition of your chimney. In addition, they will remove birds’ nests and fit cowls and caps to chimney pots. When required they can install a cage to fit around the whole chimney stack to deter gulls from nesting.


Timed appointments are offered, ‘proof of sweeping’ certificates issued for insurance purposes, and a range of payment options provided.
