Meet your Wilkins Chimney Sweep
Andy Neville
Biggleswade
Andy gave up his work for a local fencing company to join the Wilkins team, offering a chimney sweeping service from Sandy to Baldock, Papworth, Royston, Cambridge and east to Kentford. His career started in a family-run business and his attitude reflects the traditional family values you’d expect of a local resident.
Andy is based in Everton near Sandy and sweeps across to Cambridge and beyond. He has made the area his home with his wife and three children since moving from Barnet many years ago. He helps out with his local kids football club, Potton Colts, where his sons play.
He is an APICS-accredited sweep and a HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep. Services offered across the area are traditional brush and vacuum chimney sweeping (with a smile!) and Andy can also provide chimney protection from birds, rain and down draughts to keep your fireplace safe and usable. He can provide advice on any number of issues around using your open fire, woodburner, Aga, Rayburn or similar range.
“When people ask me why I became a chimney sweep, I often respond with “because Soot Happens”! I love the different challenges that each day brings. I love that my work takes me to some stunning rural parts of Cambridgeshire and into the very heart of Cambridge town to the colleges, pubs and local homes - and all the different chimney types I encounter as a result.”
Contact Andy to arrange a specific appointment at a time that suits you. Please include your name, postcode and phone number in any email.
