Meet your Wilkins Chimney Sweep
Nick Ménage
Adderbury
Nick is based in Bloxham where he lives with his wife Gill, having worked in the area since 1984. He is a member of the Association of Professional Independent Chimney Sweeps (APICS) and is a HETAS Approved Chimney Sweep. He offers chimney sweeping (including woodburner flues) and the fitting of cages, caps and cowls throughout North Oxfordshire.
Having undertaken a complete renovation of their family home, Nick and Gill have a great understanding of how important it is that customers get a fair deal – on time, clean, efficient and at a fair price – and it is the motto by which they run Wilkins Chimney Sweep North Oxfordshire.
Nick used to be a keen rugby player for Banbury, but now you are more likely to see him cycling on the lanes and hills of the Cotswolds when he’s not busy sweeping. He’s always keen to sweep at the many local pubs he encounters on his cycle tours!
Nick has now been joined by Peter Churchyard who is also a member of APICS. Peter lives with his wife Andrea in Bodicote. During the week Peter runs the Deddington Scouts group with his mum, but as a long suffering Luton Town fan, you’ll find him at Kenilworth Road most Saturdays.
