WILKINS CHIMNEY SWEEP CAMBRIDGE

Steven and Anne Gallacher independently own and operate Wilkins Chimney Sweep in Cambridgeshire as a franchise. They have lived in Cambridge since 1999.

Anne is a Deputy Head Teacher in a Cambridgeshire Primary School. Steven, who will be your sweep, spent 24 years working in public service. For the last 18 years of this time he was a civil servant.

When he decided to leave the Civil Service, Steven wanted a new challenge that also did something for the community. He says that “Providing a good service and meeting new people is what gives me the greatest pleasure. Knowing that you are providing a necessary service to a high standard does give you a real feeling of satisfaction. I will always measure myself against the number of customers who recommend me to their friends because they rated my work highly – and those who ask me to come back year after year”.
